The Mission
They needed to rebuild their website from the ground up and make it not just functional, but fun to explore and interact with. A complete brand identity was also needed, the library having never developed even a logo for themselves.
The Outcome
We developed a brand unlike anything we’ve ever seen for a library. We took their 100+ page website and transformed it into a colorful, vibrant place to visit online. We even designed their very own mascot, Fable the Fox: a gender-nonconforming, multi-colored fox that reflects their branding as much as it does their values as a library.
The Impact
Reception for the new website and brand has been nothing but positive throughout the community. Patron attendance and website visits have seen substantial growth, and staff could not be happier with the results.
We delivered them a brand identity reflective of their values and principles, while standing out from the rest of libraries. It’s colorful, it’s bold, and to be honest, it makes us want to go to the library.
With their new branding front and center, we helped breathe new life into their website while making it an enjoyable experience to explore. And on mobile, the new site stays a pleasure to navigate, following only the best practices for responsive design.
Their brand included a full range of collateral, from social templates to library cards.
We even had the privilege of designing their brand new mascot, a gender-nonconforming fox named Fable. (Aren’t they adorable?)

"A lot of people are saying, 'That’s our library?! There’s no way our town has a website of that caliber.'"
