The Mission
To design and develop the branding for Stepping Stone of San Diego’s upcoming 2024 Pink Gala fundraiser. Stepping Stone of San Diego has been helping save lives since 1976 as one of the nation’s only alcohol and drug treatment programs that caters to the LGBTQ+ community.
The Outcome
We took a big, bold approach with the brand, leaning into a heavy use of magenta and pink tones, custom graphics, and a retro-style feel.
The Impact
Reception of the new branding has been overwhelmingly positive and celebrated by the Executive Director and his team, as well as sponsors and fans alike.
We needed to focus first on getting the brand mark perfected. By ensuring the logos, colors, fonts, and accoutrements had proper curb appeal, we could easily expand the brand to all forms of media. The resulting brand package for The Pink Gala is unlike anything Stepping Stone has used before. Strong colors, clear retro ties to disco and Barbie, and a whole lot of glamour.
In addition to branding, we also developed a series of social media, posters, and email marketing blasts to support the gala’s campaign.
We built out a sponsorship booklet to aid our client in seeking donors and sponsors for the event.
